In School of Babel, a film from director Julie Bertuccelli (Since Otar Left), a Parisian classroom goes under the microscope. The documentary centers on the school of La Grange aux Belles in northern Paris. It has a program for immigrant children that provides language lessons alongside the core curriculum. The movie makes its Cleveland premiere tonight at 7 at the Cleveland Museum of Art, where it screens again at 7 on Friday night. Tickets are $9, $7 for CMA members, students and seniors. (Niesel)
