Qwister/Psychic Relic/Accent the Sky

Helmed by Ryan Melquist, Qwister blends the complementary worlds of reggae and dub within more typically “pop” songwriting sensibilities. This is stripped-down, fun music, and Melquist makes sure to encourage dancing throughout the crowd at his shows. “We like to promote positivity throughout our songs,” Melquist told a Youngstown blog recently. “As a band, we write all of our songs, which gives each song a larger meaning to us.” Check out their stuff online, and know that they’ll make Beachland feel like a funky cabana in July.
