Planetary Health in the Age of the Anthropocene Co-Sponsored by the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes

By Dr. Christopher Golden, Research Associate, Department of Environmental Health and Visiting Scientist, Department of Nutrition at the Harvard School of Public Health. This lecture will explore how humans have caused massive disruption to the natural systems of the planet, which not only pose threats to nature, but also to the mental and physical health of human populations. Dr. Golden will discuss the intersections between environmental change and human health and what might be done to tackle these problems in the future. Dr. Golden is also the director of HEAL (Health & Ecosystems: Analysis of Linkages), Wildlife Conservation Society.
