Patrick Park/Joseph Allen Beltram

Probably best known as the guy who sang the song that was the final song on the series finale of the popular Fox show The O.C., singer-songwriter Patrick Park has been plugging away as an indie artist since 2000. His brittle voice makes him sound a bit like Rufus Wainwright, though the music on his new album, Love Like Swords has more of a roots rock vibe and has rightfully drawn comparisons to Mumford & Sons and the Lumineers. You won’t need earplugs for this show as Park’s somber tunes have a hushed quality to them that will undoubtedly sound great in the confines of the Beachland’s intimate tavern. (Niesel)
