Operation Beefcake

Tonight at 7 at the Underdog, the downstairs bar at the Happy Dog, local fashion guru Valerie Mayen of Gordon Square sewing-machine haven Yellowcake hosts something called "Operation Beefcake." It's what Mayen calls a "style session" of her new men's line. It's an opportunity for design-savvy Cleveland dudes to weigh in on current samples. Mayen promises that there will be tons of cool stuff – swatches, fittings, samples and questionnaires – all so you can provide valuable input. Mayen also says that if you invest in certain products, you can get them named after you; and if you invest more than $800, you can help design your very own piece for production.
