One Shot

One of the more unique films ever made, 2002's Russian Ark consists of one long shot. Ninety-nine minutes in length, the movie consists of footage of the 33 rooms of St. Petersburg's Hermitage Museum. Some 2000 consumed extras portray 300 years of Russian history. Starting at 10:15 this morning at the Cleveland Museum of Art, the movie screens continuously until 4:45 p.m. as part of the the museum's celebration of the completion of renovations.
