There are wonderful traces of shoegaze still arcing into the contemporary music scene, and Nothing is one of the bands that’s earning its nods in that department. With a bitchin’ sophomore album on the table this year, Nothing shows off skilled hands when dealing with dynamics. This isn’t just straightforward, pummel-the-walls rock ‘n’ roll, but rather a delicate sea of songwriting and sensory exploration. Each song on the new album presents a fresh perspective on fuzz rock.
