New Light on an Ancient Bronze: Ongoing Research on the Cleveland Apollo
When: Tue., Nov. 1 2022
Cast in hollow bronze sections using the indirect lost-wax technique, the Cleveland Apollo sculpture still appears strikingly lifelike today and is a visitor favorite at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Today at noon at CMA, Seth Pevnick and Colleen Snyder will discuss its significance. Admission is free, but a recommendation is suggested.
