Katie Gavin, Naomi McPherson and Josette Maskin, the members of the indie rock act MUNA, began making music together in college, at USC, and released an early hit in 2017 with the single “I Know a Place,” a self-described "pent-up invocation of LGBTQ sanctuary and transcendence." band’s self-titled third album, is more than a return. As a result, the band’s self-titled new album explores a variety identity issues. The band's tour in support of the album comes to the Rock Hall today.
