Moistboyz/Black Puddle Noise

The power-rock Pennsylvanian duo of Mickey and Dickie Moist, AKA Moistboyz, are back and more powerful than ever. After Ween's break-up last year, Mickey Moist, who you may also know as Dean Ween, directed his energy into Moistboyz, releasing Moistboyz V this year. The two guys perform beer-guzzlin', gun-slingin' tunes that merge musical mastery and politically incorrect lyrics. Full of punchy, kick-ass guitar licks, the raucous Moistboyz V features tracks like "Paperboy," a song whose accompanying music video offers a filthy and weird take on the classic video game of the same name. The songs here rock out in full force with amazing grooves and lyrics you wouldn't recite to your mom. While the songs are dirty, there's no doubt these guys are brilliant. (Patrick Stoops)
