MIX: Funk
This month's installment of MIX focuses on Gordon Parks, the photographer and artist whose work is currently on display at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Parks would go on to direct Shaft, a classic blaxploitation flick that featured a killer funk soundtrack. Shaft's soundtrack will set the tone for tonight's after-work party. The fun starts at 6, and tickets cost $10 in advance, or $15 at the door. It's free for art museum members. (Niesel)
