Mindful Breathing, Gentle Movement

Take time for yourself with breath and movement to reduce stress and restore calm. The practice will include movement between chair and floor, with modifications offered. Bring a yoga mat or towel. The holidays and winter can be and are a difficult and stressful time for many. To prepare for this season, we'll learn mindful breathing techniques and gentle movement postures you can turn to to keep the anxiety and stress away! Mindful breathing enhances focus and reduces stress by centering attention on the breath, promotes relaxation and emotional regulation contributing to improved mental wellbeing.
