Milford Graves Full Mantis
An innovative jazz drummer and percussionist who performed with the likes of Albert Ayler, Milford Graves is the subject of the new documentary feature, Milford Graves Full Mantis. In the film, Graves speaks so eloquently about his drumming that he sounds like a spoken word artist. The movie makes its Cleveland premiere today at 1:30 p.m. at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Tickets are $10, or $7 for CMA members. (Niesel)
