Martin Luther King, Jr. Convocation featuring Bryan Stevenson

Social justice visionary Bryan Stevenson, described as “America’s young Nelson Mandela,” will present the keynote address at Case Western Reserve University’s annual MLK convocation on Friday, January 22 at 12:30 p.m. A MacArthur fellow and founder of the Equal Justice Initiative, Stevenson is considered a leader in the movement against mass incarceration in the United States. He recently served on President Barack Obama's task force on 21st-century policing. The New Yorker named Stevenson's TED Talk on the subject of injustice one of five essential TED Talks. Stevenson's keynote address will be followed by a book signing.
