While growing up, MAITA’s Maria Maita-Keppele split time between her mom’s Japanese-speaking home and her father’s English-speaking home. Music provided her with an outlet, and she's regularly toured and recorded as an indie musician for the past few years. Recorded in a church basement, MAITA’s latest album, I Just Want To Be Wild For You, made the most of the setting’s 40-foot ceilings.
