Despite being nominated for nine Cesars (the equivalent of a French Oscar), Jacques Demy's musical A Room in Town never received a proper theatrical release in the United States. The movie centers a tragic love story that's set during a violent 1955 naval shipyard workers strike. It makes its local theatrical debut tonight at 7 at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Tickets are $9.
