Based on historical events that took place in the 1940s, this French film follows French North Africans who recount their participation in the French Resistance and the important role of the Grand Mosque of Paris in protecting and evacuating Jews in face of German persecution. It screens today at 2 p.m. at the Cleveland Museum of Art.
