Kurent Jump

Please join us for an exciting evening celebrating the Kurent Jump, the ceremonial start to the annual Cleveland Kurentovanje festival, a Slovenian-style Mardi Gras where mythical figures emerge from hibernation around a bonfire, ringing loud bells to chase winter away and welcome spring. Doors will open at 5:30PM, with music beginning at 6:00PM. Chardon Polka Band will return this year for your listening and dancing pleasure. Just as they do in Ptuj, we'll celebrate with a complimentary juha (soup). Additional food will also be available for purchase.
