Kozo Harvest

The Morgan’s Caraboolad Garden boasts the largest kozo grove in the United States. The Annual Kozo Harvest at the Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory and Educational Foundation offers the community an opportunity to participate in a hands-on, in-depth demonstration of the process of turning paper mulberry tree from the Morgan’s Caraboolad Garden into beautiful handmade paper. This community event allows participants the opportunity to harvest, steam, scrape and beat kozo. This year’s Annual Kozo Harvest takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and tomorrow. Free. (Usmani)
