Just for Laughs

Now that ThistleDown has become a “racino” complete with slot machines and a brand new food court, the racetrack is a popular destination. And with the addition of the new Comedy Zone comedy club, there’s just one more good reason to go there. Comic Shaun Jones kicks off the club’s opening tonight at 8. Jones is a regular on B.E.T.’s Comic View and had a small role opposite Jamie Foxx in the 2003 movie Shade. He headlines and Paul Strickland opens. The two perform throughout the weekend, and comedians are scheduled into November. Tickets are $15. (Niesel)
