John & Dan

An offshoot of a larger band called Barbez, John & Dan is a Brooklyn, NY-based ensemble that has released several records on John Zorn's Tzadik label and on Important Records out of Boston. Last month, the duo finished tracking the remaining songs for its debut-album. The group will perform some of this new material, much of which was written during the pandemic, in the Catskills, where Dan and his family have relocated since the pandemic hit. Arms and Armour and Black Island Condors will open the show.
