Singer-songwriter Jesse Dayton recorded his latest album, The Outsider, while on tour, working with Grammy Award-winning engineer/producer Vance Powell (Sturgill Simpson, Chris Stapleton, Jason Isbell and Jack White). Raw electric guitars drive a redneck rock tune such as "Hurtin' Behind the Pine Curtain," a tune that shows off his gruff vocals. He performs today at 1 p.m. at the Rock Hall.
