Jane Lewty + Janice Lowe Poetry Reading

CSU’s Poetry Center holds a reading series that brings in notable writers from around the country. This reading is a little different, however. Janice Lowe, who has published poetry, composed musicals and performed with experimental bands, will perform her poems on piano at the reading. She is a poet, composer, and pianist, and a bassist and drummer will accompany her. Also reading is Jane Lewty, winner of the CSU Poetry Center Open Book prize in 2016. She has taught at universities in the US, the UK, and The Netherlands in addition to publishing poems in multiple journals. This reading will be held in CSU’s Drinko Recital Hall. (Cook)
