Infamous Stringdusters/Blue Moon Soup

The bluegrass jam band scene has become a pretty dynamic community lately, and the Infamous Stringdusters have secured a spot at the top of the charts for years now. Consistently on fire, the Stringdusters have dropped a number of great stand-alone albums (including 2014’s Let It Go), but the stage is where the band really shines. “When the music gets going, that's not a time necessarily to just recreate something that we already know how to do,” banjo player Chris Pandolfi told Scene last year. “That's actually when hopefully the magic happens — when not only do you get that one-of-a-kind, inspired version of a song that is predicated on the people in the room, but you also get that song in a form that maybe it's never been in before.” (Sandy)
