Happy Dog Takes on the World

A regular series that brings guest speakers to the Happy Dog, the bar/restaurant/music venue located in the Detroit Shoreway, Happy Dog Takes on the World features local experts talking about issues of national and international significance. Tonight's talk centers on the legacy of World War II, 70 years later. The speakers hadn't been determined by press time, but you can bet a handful of local experts will be on hand. The event is presented in partnership with the City Club of Cleveland, the Cleveland Council on World Affairs, International Partners in Mission and the Northeast Ohio Consortium of Middle East Studies. It takes place at 7:30 p.m. and admission is free. (Niesel
