Hands on Seed Starting

Starting plants from seeds makes economic and ecologic sense. Growing plants from seed allows you to experience the whole life cycle of the plant, getting a better understanding of a plant's life. We'll explain the whole process to help you start your garden from seeds including selecting seeds, preparing seed starting media, using soil blocks and trays, and how to light, heat, and water your seedlings. You'll get to practice each step of the process.
