Halcyon Summer Solstice Festival

The Cleveland Museum of Art’s Summer Solstice concert sold out as soon as tickets went on sale. If you’re looking for an alternative, you might consider the Halcyon Summer Solstice Festival. Booked by the local production company Sphere, a group that’s been putting on electronic music events in Cleveland for years, the festival features a good mix of local bands and DJs. Hard rockers Venomin James headline tonight’s event, which begins at 7 at the the Temple in Ohio City. A slew of bands and DJs perform at the same time and place tomorrow as well. (Jeff Niesel)
