Greenwich Village: Music That Defined a Generation

Home to the folk music revival of the 1960s, Greenwich Village, New York nurtured a number of up-and-coming musicians who would go on to become famous. In her 2012 film, Greenwich Village: Music That Defined a Generation, director Laura Archibald explores the beginning of the revival and interviews icons such as Pete Seeger, Peter Yarrow and Judy Collins in attempt to depict what the time period was like. The film also features clips of live performances. It screens tonight at 7 at the Cleveland Museum of Art. (Jeff Niesel)
