Exchanges: Cardiac Kids is a joint program brought to you by the Global Center for health Innovation and CWRU Dittrick Medical History Center and Museum. Cardiac Kids is a short presentation by author, historian and TEDx speaker Brandy Schillace, PhD, who will share the story of Cleveland’s real Cardiac Kids—the cardiac surgeons of the 1950s and 60s—doctors who took risks and pioneered innovations right here in NEO. In addition, we’ll hear from a mini-panel of experts specializing in cardiac care innovation. We'll end the program with a public forum and discussion.
