Glassland

The esteemed film journal Sight & Sound declared Glassland "the best Irish film in years." The movie centers on a cabdriver (Jack Reynor) who has his hands full with his alcoholic mother (Toni Collette). When he finds her unconscious one morning, he has to scrounge up the money to put her in rehab — no easy task since he lives on a subsistence wage. The movie screens at 7 p.m. at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Tickets are $9. (Niesel)
