From 2001 to 2013, Tri-C Television Production and Recording Arts & Technology presented over 400 episodes of the cable programs Crooked River Groove and Words & Music. The programs featured more than 200 local music groups and songwriters from many genres performing their original music.
Tonight's concert at the Beachland celebrates that legacy, and 10 with some connection to the program will play. Shākē Ground Band, Falling Stars, Jackie Warren, Dreadlock Dave's Automatonic Alien Entropy, Jack Fords, Tracy Marie and Friends, Xela, Tommy Wiggins, Rachel Brown and the Beatnik Playboys, Bill Lestock and Jen Maurer are on the bill. The show starts at 7.
