For the Love of Shakespeare

The sensibilities of Shakespeare's plays are so modern, they naturally lend themselves to film adaptations, several of which take liberties with the story lines. Viola, the new film from Argentine director Miguel Pineiro, refashions Twelfth Night as the story of a young female bicycle courier who befriends a group of women performing in a production of Shakespeare's play. The film makes its Cleveland debut tonight at 7:45 at the Cleveland Museum of Art. It also screens at 2:45 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $9. (Niesel)
