A shared love of funk and soul music led the members of Fat Night to start jamming together in a backyard shed. That led to the release of the band's 2013 debut single, "Things You Do," a tender R&B number that benefits from cooing vocals and a trippy guitar riff. The band moved to Chicago in late 2016 before releasing its newest single, "Honest Man" in early 2017. A new full-length album is in the works. Be sure to arrive early to see opener Wesley Bright and his dynamic backing band, the Honeytones. (Niesel)
