Fantastic Voyage

In Mystical Journey: Kumbh Mela, British actor Dominic West (The Wire) and his childhood friend (Sanskrit scholar James Mallinson) go on a journey to meet up with approximately 100 million other people in India at the triennial Maha Kumbh Mela, the world’s largest devotional gathering. A Smithsonian Channel documentary, the film captures the chaos and beauty of the event. It screens tonight at 6 at the Morley Lecture Hall inside the Cleveland Museum of Art. Admission is free.
