The veteran punk band Face to Face formed over 20 years ago and somehow singer-guitarist Trever Keith has managed to keep it together all this time Of course, the band did split for a brief period in 2004. And he is the only remaining original member. But don’t hold that against him. Since reforming in 2008, the band has been on a roll. Its new album, Three Chords and a Half Truth, is its best yet. It commences with the engaging, Clash-like “123 Drop” and never lets up as Keith gets all political and stuff on songs such as the Social Distortion-inspired “Smokestacks and Skyscrapers” and the noisy title track. It’s good stuff. (Jeff Niesel)
