Even Though the Whole World is Burning

A two-time Pulitzer-winner and environmental activist, W.S. Merwin inspires activism with his writing. He has dedicated three decades to preserving and regenerating native plants on the Merwin Conservancy, a 19-acre site in Maui, Hawaii. The new documentary film Even Though the Whole World Is Burning chronicles his remarkable career. Tonight at 7:30, the film makes its Ohio premiere as it screens at the Kent Stage at an event sponsored by Kent State University’s Wick Poetry Center, the Kent Stage and Western Reserve Folk Arts Association.
