She has opened for the likes of Mel Torme, Joan Rivers, Harry Belafonte, Bob James, Freddie Jackson, Regina Belle among others. Performs the Tri-C JazzFest annually. She was awarded the Jazz Legend Award from Tri-C Community College in 2008.
