Devotional 2018

An annual event designed to acknowledge the genius of the Akron new-wave group Devo, DEVOtional 2018 commences tonight at the Beachland Tavern. It kicks off with a donation-based De-Voke (Devolved Karoake) event that features the Fantastic Plastics and 3 O'Clock Rock Showcase. The doors open at 6. Tomorrow, Devo's Jerry Casale will be on hand for a meet-and-greet and autograph session, and tribute acts such as Spudboys, DEVO-tion and DEVOmatix will perform. The doors open at 2 p.m. on Saturday, and tickets are $35. (Niesel)
