Delicate Steve/Cereal Banter

For his new album, This is Steve, indie rocker Steve Marion, aka Delicate Steve, did even less prep work than he did for previous releases. He cut the thing in a mere 11 days, writing the songs as he was in the studio recording them. As a result, the tunes have a real immediacy to them. On the twangy song “Winners,” his guitar sounds like some kind of electric kazoo as the song features a fun, Tom Petty-like vibe. "Winners" also shows off his guitar playing abilities. Expect to hear the tracks, highlights in Steve's repertoire of instrumental tunes, at tonight's show. (Jeff Niesel)
