Join us in the gallery with Peter J. Haas, Abba Hillel Silver Professor Emeritus,for a conversation about the Western Wall, also known as the Kotel, which is considered the most significant site in the world for the Jewish people as it is the last remnant of the Second Jewish Temple. In the month of Chanukah, join us to learn about the Wall’s history and why Jews from around the world gather here to pray and write notes to G-d and place them between the ancient stones of the Wall. Coffee will be served.
