Cuyahoga County Solar Co-op

The Cuyahoga County Department of Sustainability and the nonprofit Solar United Neighbors offer consumers an opportunity to save on the cost of going solar by joining the Cuyahoga County Solar Co-op. When the Co-op reaches sufficient size members will solicit bids from multiple installers and choose democratically from among those bids. There is no obligation. Members can quit at any time. The first step is to attend a meeting in a community near you where you will learn the basics of solar power: Federal Tax incentives; financing options; warranties; longevity of the panels, etc. All information and no pressure.
