Revolutionary composer/performer/improviser, Robert Dick from New York joins Cleveland-based experimental harpist/composer/improviser to celebrate the release of their duo recording, Crop Circles. Their duo reexplore the long established flute and harp duo through improvisation and creative approaches to their respective instruments. Robert and Stephan’s musical landscape is wildly colorful, created with Robert’s array of flutes, voice, jaw harps and game calls and Stephan’s harp, prepared with an assortment of materials and objects. Also featuring Max Hyde-Perry Ensemble, performing a new original work with spontaneous score generation, manipulation, and cued interactions presented on overhead projectors.
