CUSP Presents: Ben Wretch // Marcia Custer

Performance art event featuring Ben Wretch and Marcia Custer. Ben Wretch is a visual artist and performer in Cleveland, OH. Their current body of work employs the imagery of the suburban front lawn to explore questions about the constructed nature of the American social landscape. Performing Albatross Cul-De-Sac, an existential queer fairy tale in the form of a multi-media experiment in storytelling. Marcia Custer is a movement and sound-based performance artist with a penchant for both the bizarre and the sublime. Custer’s performance work is rooted in feminist and queer approaches to embodiment, experimental sound, and radical community dance practice.
