Creating Visual Narratives with Monotype

In this workshop students will create a series of monotypes. Using scissors and knife, students will explore the fundamental steps in paper cutting and stencil making. There will be printmaking demos of rainbow rolls, flats, offsets, transfers and other processes to help generate images. Students will be given time to work on prints, interspersed with feedback, to help refine and expand ideas and ultimately craft a strong series of thematic prints.
