Collin Miller & the Brother Nature Play the Music of Sly & the Family Stone

A great soul/rock band from the 1970s, Sly & the Family Stone delivered funky grooves that spoke to the Civil Rights movement with tunes such as "I Want To Take You Higher" and "Everyday People." Tonight at 8 at the Beachland Ballroom, local rockers Collin Miller & the Brother Nature will pay tribute to the band with a special set of covers. Locals Hello! 3D and Chayla Hope share the bill for what will truly be a celebratory NYE show. DJ Teddy Eisenberg will man the wheels of steel.
