Cleveland Jewish Film Fest
The annual Cleveland Jewish Film Fest opens with a screening of Running on Sand, a dramady about a young refugee who gets mistaken for a Nigerian soccer star while living in Israel. The film shows at 7 p.m. at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, and a dessert reception follows the screening. The festival runs through Sept. 15. mandeljcc.org/filmfest.
