Carolyn Wonderland

Produced by roots-rock legend Dave Alvin (the Blasters), Tempting Fate, the latest effort from blues act Carolyn Wonderland combines Wonderland’s powerhouse voice with her masterful guitar and lap-steel playing. She spent five years as lead guitarist in blues legend John Mayall’s Blues Breakers, the first woman ever to hold that position, and has now joined Alligator Records as the first female guitar hero in the label’s storied 50-year history. Tonight's show at the Beachland Tavern begins at 8. Local singer-songwriter Kristine Jackson opens.
