Burlesque Show at the Beachland

One of the prime movers behind Cleveland’s burlesque revival, Bella Sin will be starring tonight in The Strip: A Spring Fling at the Beachland Ballroom’s Tavern. If such a thing is even possible, the normally irrepressible Bella is extra psyched for tonight’s burlesque show: It doubles as a book release party for It’s All that Glitters: Portraits of Burlesque Performers in Their Own Homes. Created by L.A.-based photog Brian C. Janes, the hardcover coffee-table book is a peek into the private lives of 104 national burlesque beauties. Naturally, Bella is one of them. Janes asked all the performers the same question: What does burlesque mean to you? You can find out Bella’s answer beginning at 8:30 p.m. Joining her on stage: Twiggy Stardust, Constantinople, Nate Puppets, and more. And of course, Bella will be signing copies of the book.
