The first visible light in the universe is known as the Cosmic Microwave Background. Understanding CMB has helped scientists comprehend the nature of the universe. And yet, there are “unexplained peculiarities that do not fit within the currently accepted paradigm.” In her talk Known Unknowns of the Early Universe, Amanda Yoho, a Ph.D candidate in Case Western Reserve University’s theoretical astrophysics and cosmology department, will talk Life, the Universe and Hot Dogs.
