Band of Sisters

Band of Sisters, Mary Fishman’s documentary about a group of Catholic nuns who want to “expand their vision of justice” by hosting podcasts and interacting with people through Facebook and other forms of social media, suggests the modern-day nun eschews the stereotypes. Fishman’s interviews with the subjects are revealing and she lets them tell their stories while still talking about their devotion to the church and their faith.
